After the colonial Israeli court’s ruling May 5, 1,300 Palestinians could be kicked out of their homes in Masafer Yatta, near Hebron, Palestine, at any moment, with 2,400 people total threatened with losing their homes: the largest single expulsion since 1967.
The Israeli Supreme Court set September 29 as the date the demolition of Khallet Ad- Dabe’ , one of the villages, can begin. The demolition orders include all homes and most livelihood structures in the village.
Around 100 students in Al- Fakheet School and 50 students in Jinba school are under the threat of losing their right to education after the Israeli Supreme Court rejected an appeal regarding the demolition of these schools.
